According to the type, level and expectation of audience, a different form will be used although the themes are the same.  The way the lecture is presented can be more "serious" or more "joking"; deeper or more superficial approach, etc.

Nestor has been giving theorist capoeira lectures in Brasil and abroad, since 1971 and says:

"Notwithstanding the need of passing information and bringing new insights to others, a lecture is not like a 'class' in school; it is a performance like in theatre, a one-man-show on a stage.  A lecture is something like a capoeira game, where you have to 'see' and understand what the other player (the audience) is all about and interact based on this knowledge. But at the same time, if you are a good player, you must be efficient, artistic, creative, and (especially) fun".
